The cello was my route into great music and meeting amazing musicians. With it I've experienced intense touring schedules with the Philharmonia and LSO, the rapt communion of playing solo Bach in a candlelit church as part of my Cello Pilgrimage, and the joy of playing chamber music with great musicians. Among all the opera, ballet and orchestral conducting, the one constant has been chamber music - now with the Razumovsky Quartet.

Music can create atmosphere, emotion, character and take you on a beautiful journey. The music I've composed to picture has been used on hundreds of films, documentaries and series worldwide. I relish collaborating with theatre and film directors to make great stories come alive.
